Chef/Owner Howard Hanna’s French and Italian inspired cuisine strikes a balance between bold sophistication and rustic sensibility equally reflected by the aesthetic of our private dining room. The intimate space is centered around a custom-designed large-scale cypress table that can accommodate up to 22 guests as one table, or 36 pulled apart as two tables. For a reception, the tables are pushed to the periphery of the room to provide ample room for reception fare. The south wall harkens the history of the Rieger Hotel featuring a bright J. Rieger & Co. mural. Modern geometric pendants and a cozy wine wall on the north wall finish the space.

For your convenience, there is no food and beverage minimum, room rental fee or deposit required during business hours (for luncheon events, a food and beverage minimum applies, varying based on day/season). We request an executed contract to secure the private dining room for your desired date.


The Rieger offers a full-range of beverage options, from a hosted open bar to pre-selected wine with your meal. We are also pleased to accommodate events in which attendees are responsible for individual tabs for their drinks.

AV & Additional Accents

We are pleased to offer a pop-up projection screen as well as a wireless connection on-premise. Should your event require a projector, microphone or additional components, we are happy to coordinate these services. Our events coordinator may also assist in providing Christopher Elbow chocolate favors or floral arrangements. While the Rieger is unable to provide custom cakes, you are welcome to bring in your own cake or dessert (cake-cutting fee applies), or we can make the arrangements for you. Please don’t hesitate to ask if there is any way we can make your event extra-special!
